Economic Development Alliance (LEDA) has announced 145 jobs and $22.5 million
in capital investments in the community. Taylor Rig and Equipment, a company
providing repair, refurbishing, inspection, and support for oilfield equipment,
has created 100 jobs and invested $225,000 into the Lubbock economy. The
CoNetrix, a full-service computer networking, security, and compliance firm,
has expanded its operations by $15.3 million, creating 15 new jobs and
constructing a new facility. TrueNorth Steel, a company that recently launched
a new steel tank production line, has added 30 jobs due to increased labor
demand. More and more companies are hiring more people to do the job.
